They have tons of warts but they’re finding ways to win.

I'm a half glass empty kind of person but so does KC.  Not disagreeing with you about anything,  just using your comment as a springboard.  Not every KC game is a blowout.  They play some messy games too and have to fight tooth and nail in some of them.

KC has been too lucky

The game was closer than I liked but it’s the NFL and anything can happen.

Allen had to go without s few of his top receivers, he had a few misfires, but he ran and made several big plays as we are accustomed to seeing.

Defense forced turnovers, was a bit up and down but tightened up in the second half.  (the last drive Colt TD and its associated yards were garbage yards.).

DOUBLE DUB WEEKEND AGAIN

Sabres W

Bills W.

Five straight Buffalo sports wins. Tomorrow will make six!

I know the WRs have taken a lot of heat this year, but I really liked Hollins yesterday. That was such a great veteran heads up play at the end of the first half.

I have no problem with Mack Hollins.  Seems like a great dude.  I just don’t want him being WR1, WR2 or WR3.

Brings his lunch bucket to work.   He is a WR4/5.  Adds an excellent blocking WR element.    Strong special teams player too.

Same.

Hollins is a good 4. Shakir is a good 3. Need the other two healthy

This certainly appears to be the plan.

This prompted to think about how much trust Allen has in him -- likely because he's a vet who puts in the work, and is where he needs to be when his QB needs him.

And while I'm not crazy about him being a featured element of the passing game, the reality is that he doesn't need elite separation skills when the play is breaking down and it's a scramble drill with one of the league's best QB's. (Otoh, I can recall several planned, in-rhythm passing plays where his inability to separate is painfully obvious.)

Anyway. Credit to Hollins, he's been coming through for the team.

Respectfully, you guys are missing the most important points about Hollins:

- He doesn't wear shoes.

- He doesn't use elevators -- not out of a phobia, but because he doesn't want to rise to a level that he hasn't earned.

- He doesn't use silverware when he eats.

He's an authentic free spirit, and I'd guess that everyone likes him and he makes the vibe in the room better.

They are never leaving that stadium, they are supposedly ahead of schedule so this isn't even with delays.
