Also wearing a “a minor” diamond chain was another high level troll job. Im just glad someone is finally taking wheel chair jimmy to task. Garbage artist. Glad Kendrick exposed him for who he is. I'm not a huge music fan. I can count the number or concerts I have gone to in the last decade on one hand. Listen to talk radio as much, or more than music in the car. Most of the time I a show on the TV for background noise over playing music in the house. I say all that to say I probably am one of the last people to comment on the quality of the music. But the rest of what you posted. Trolling. "Destroying Drake" wearing something as another troll job. Taking someone to task...calling an artist Garbage. That is all the stuff I really really dislike....the fact that it happens and the fact that it is mentioned and talked about. I'm not singling the comment made by you out directly, just the overall hype that the pregame shows, the halftime shows, the talk around them get in larger circles, by society in general. For those who like that drama, fine, its entertainment. I think it is a large part, a VERY large part of why I fell out of love the the NFL. It used to be my #1 league. Used to watch every bills game, knew the entire rosters...etc, etc. But the hype, the side shows, the commentators, it just pushed me away. As bad as the Sabres are, I enjoy them, and the NHL as a whole a LOT more than the NFL, and its not even close. It used to be the other way around. Again, that stuff draws more people in and publicity, its making the NFL money. Just for me, the reason I follow this Sabres team, and like the NHL more than I ever have before, is there is just a lot less of that on the broadcasts. Quote

I'm a big fan of rap and hip-hop. I don't have an ear for Kendrick. That said, the 20-somethings in my life were losing their ever loving minds. So - I reckon it wasn't for me. 2 1 Quote

If this is a copycat league why aren't teams loading up on defense, especially the Bills/every team in theChiefs division? It never makes sense to me. Because N years ago it was "great O and bend-don't-break D". Things move in swings. Everyone will be trying to load on D now, and then some team with a great O will win a few and it'll swing back. Remember that scene in The Matrix where the guy who's betraying the rebel squad is eating a steak that he knows isn't real? Sometimes it's a bit like that. Not entirely. But a bit. 8 minutes ago, Stoner said: That and giving up your championship dreams. Lol - not quite? I didn't know that'd stick in your craw. Sorry, man. Quote

Just poking fun. Although I think he should be in the discussion for best character actor of all time but that might be a slight. He’s great in everything. Just saw him in Dexter Original Sin. My favorite role may have been in Memento. 1 Quote

inkman Posted Monday at 07:42 PM Report Posted Monday at 07:42 PM Some of the meatier lyrics from Kendrick to Drake: Say, Drake, I hear you like 'em young You better not ever go to cell block one To any bitch that talk to him and they in love Just make sure you hide your lil' sister from him They tell me Chubbs the only one that get your hand-me-downs And Party at the party playin' with his nose now And Baka got a weird case, why is he around? Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophiles *****, *****, *****, *****, *****, Dot, ***** 'em up *****, *****, *****, *****, *****, I'ma do my stuff Why you trollin' like a bitch? Ain't you tired? Tryna strike a chord and it's probably A minor Quote

Tryna strike a chord and it's probably A minor As explained to me by one of my kids: "A minor" can be played on the piano with only white keys. So, in addition to being a reference to Drake's preference for underaged girls, Kendrick is dissing Drake for being far more white than black. Clever business. Quote

Night Train Posted Monday at 09:10 PM Report Posted Monday at 09:10 PM Philly fans are brutal. I remember when they were 2-2 after week 4 and the fans and media just crushed them. Fire the coach ! Then they finish 16-1 and hoist the Lombardi trophy. I guess Ohio St. fans are the same. Lose 4 in a row to Michigan and the lunatic fringe goes nuts. Then they roll over 4 teams in the playoffs to win the title. Oh...now everything is cool for at least a month.. LOL Quote

Reminds me when we went to see ‘Hamilton’ and the guy behind us exclaimed, “I didn’t know there was gonna be this stupid rap music!” I didn’t know whether to laugh or feel sorry that he would just never get what Miranda was getting at. On the plus side, he had no complaints about black actors playing several founding fathers. Yay progress! 2 Quote
