Scottysabres Posted January 6 Report Posted January 6 Just got done reading multiple patriots fan forums. To say their fan base is fuming they won the game is an oxymoron understatement. They really had their hopes set on that 1st overall draft pick 😂 Quote

LGR4GM Posted January 7 Report Posted January 7 The Bills will have to beat the Broncos first obviously but I think the Ravens are terrifying for just about anyone. Idk how you stop Lamar throwing or running and then you add in having to stop Henry too... that team might be unbeatable in the postseason. Quote

Yes, it happened here -- twice. The signs were strong right from the beginning. After dropping a close game to the 49ers in Week 1 on "Monday Night Football," the Jets rattled off four consecutive victories. While Rodgers didn't rise to an MVP level, he played well, finishing in the top eight of QBR. But it was the league's best defense that drove the Jets' success. Cornerback Sauce Gardner shut down opposing wideouts en route to winning Defensive Player of the Year, and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams disrupted every opponent's offensive line. Thanks to their strong play -- and aided by Buffalo's collapse -- the Jets won the AFC East with ease at 12-5, with the Miami Dolphins finishing second at 9-8. lol... just lolz 1 Quote

Which is to find the right player chemistry to help establish a winning team culture without compromise. I would say Zucker is the right kind of player for that. We don't have enough Zuckers. 1 Quote

He will have to do everything - literally. 1 Quote
SabresBillsFan Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 As much as everyone wants to see the Bills win the Super Bowl my only concerns are the defense and the coaching against top tier coaches. Allen can’t play defense and can’t do it all. Quote

Score early and often to push them away from running, then hope the defense gets turnovers. The offense will probably have to score 40+. 1 Quote
JustOneParade Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 Was watching a Cover 1 preview of the upcoming Denver game. Somehow in the press the Broncos defense has been seemingly risen to the level of the '85 Bears defense. Decided to look at the Broncos' season. W-L versus quality of opponents played. For the purposes of this exercise I have thrown out the season finale vs. the Chiefs JV squad. Thus, 16 games total. Here are the outcomes: 16 total games played, 6 versus teams in the playoffs Wins: 10, with only one of those against a playoff team (the similarly 10-7 Bucs) Losses: 6, with 5 of those versus playoff teams. The one loss to a non-playoff team was a couple weeks ago against the 9-8 Bengals So: 1-5 vs. teams in the playoffs Not suggesting that this will be a cakewalk by any stretch but the Broncs' schedule has certainly contributed to its defensive metrics. I just feel like there is a good amount of BBFS out there (not necessarily on this board). I like the Bills' D to adequately hold up against a rookie quarterback (even if he is 32 years old 😆) in Buffalo. At the end of the day, as the axiom goes: "We have Josh Allen. You don't". 1 1 Quote

I’ll add to this that they essentially beat KC both times. Quote

That Aud Smell Posted Thursday at 02:44 PM Author Report Posted Thursday at 02:44 PM The Broncos should be a stiff test. In the wildcard weekends from 2024 and 2023, I felt quite certain going in that the Bills should dispatch with their opponents (Steelers, Dolphins). This one feels a bit different. Go Bills! Quote

Agreed on this. Although, the Dolphins game wound up being tighter than it should have been. Maybe a tough opponent in the first found gets them ready for a long run. Here’s hoping! 1 Quote
JustOneParade Posted Thursday at 08:37 PM Report Posted Thursday at 08:37 PM (edited) Just saw that Kyle Williams will be the 'Legend of the Game' on Sunday. Breaking the current stadium would be bad. 🙂 And yes.. Kyle Williams... great choice. 2 Quote
