At this point I have to say yes.

I still think occasionally....Bruce Smith.  I think DE just isn't as important as QB so that pushes things in Allen's favor.  But, Bruce, I feel was probably in the top 5 DE's of all time. Allen? I'm not sure I'd put him yet as one of the top 5 QB's of all time.

Again though, position importance matters.

Very fair.  

Now which player impacted his teams fortunes more?   How many QBs would have made those plays on the final drive?  

Bruce was best at his position.  Kelly won more.  Allen does more things at an elite level, and he carries the biggest load passing and running, and in todays game he is elite.

I watched tonight from home.  Romo said before the fourth down play that Allen should run and put the game in his hands. 
 

And then the touchdown.  
 

JA17 is willing this team to another level.  It’s like when LeBron put Cleveland on his back to win a title.  Josh will not be denied. We are going to the Super Bowl.

As a fellow old guy who LOVED Kelly, I have to Josh is better.  Yes, he hasn't taken the Bills to the level that Kelly did BUT Allens ability to Run is the differentiator.  
I love the fact that the Bills top 2 QBs in franchise history both had linebacker mentality and are tough as nails.

Well, I was lucky enough to be at the stadium today.  What an incredible day.  One great play after another, on both sides of the ball.  I think every seat was occupied until the very end.  And JA's TD run to put the game away, especially against that defense and that team, was one of the best football plays I've ever seen live.  That was legit Michael Jordan beating the Cavs in game 5 at the buzzer stuff.

Also, I freaking love the Ralph, warts and all.

I've been a huge critic of McDermott But today I want to praise his decision to go for it on the 4 and 2 that led to Josh's big run

it was probably really tempting for him to kick a FG there.   So happy he put the game in the hands of his best player and let Josh win it

You could tell on tv it was LOUD.  The Ralph had to be shaking.  Enjoy it because the new stadium will be a different experience.

I don't watch a lot of football any more but today I watched Ravens Steelers and then Bills Chefs and that was entertaining all around.

I've looked down my nose at the idea of great players in recent Buffalo sports. It always seemed desperate and manufactured. Hell, I never thought Ryan Miller was great, so I wasn't going to apply that mantle to rookie Dylan Cozens. I wish I was still the kind of Bills fan I used to be so I could truly revel in something so rare that came along on a Sunday evening in November: an authentically and indisputably great play by an authentically and indisputably great player. You won't find many greater moments in the history of Buffalo sports. Sabres, were you watching?

I was at the stadium at our customary perch in the first few rows of the 300s. Allen's 4th down run occurred right below us.

There's just nobody quite like him in pro football.

Waxing a bit philosophical: I've now fully abandoned the anxious lament of "Will 'my team' ever win a title? Because, if'n they don't, everything is for naught. All is vanity.* "

I'm here to say: Eff that. 

Last night's game - and Allen's incredible game winning play - is *it*. Don't get distracted by a desire for more (because that desire is never sated). Don't be misled by narratives that fulfillment is found only in championships.

I'll treasure so many moments that have occurred at that stadium over the past several years -- almost all of them involving Allen dropping that second "L" in his name and going full Alien. I won't treasure those moments any less because they didn't involve a win in February. And those moments and memories are already more than sufficient.

It's low hanging fruit for cynics to scoff: "Ha. Loser talk."

That's fine. I'm not interested in debating it. I'm just giving witness to my truth.

I think this is the best backfield they have had in a long time. All 3 guys are talented and productive in their own way.

During the Bils drought I stepped way back.  Ive taken a few steps back in, but I don’t have that burning need to see my team win a championship anymore.  I am perfectly content to watch the ridiculously good entertainment we see every Sunday.  Josh Allen is absolutely worth every minute in front of the television.  He is truly a one of a kind talent.
 

This fanbase is going to be in mourning when Josh’s career is finished.  I hope they are fully appreciating it in the moment.  They do seem to be.

I love their RBs this season. That said, it's an unusual day to be celebrating them -- insofar as the RBs go, the Chiefs totally stifled the Bills' run game last night.

You're right that for the most part the Chiefs blunted the run game. But you still have to mix it in and keep their defense in check to prevent them from cutting loose and attacking the qb. Sticking with the run when there wasn't much production was the right approach to take in the game within the game.
