JustOneParade Posted November 3 Report Posted November 3 Is it possible for a now 7-2 team to have a turning point for the positive? As a poster on TSW suggested, โthat was the most un-Billsy thing everโ. Quote

Crusader1969 Posted November 3 Report Posted November 3 Nice to be on the right side of a miracle kick. ย ย career saving moment right there ! Go Bills !ย Quote
carpandean Posted November 3 Report Posted November 3 I'll have to admit that with the speed that they have, I was nervous when Miami started lateralling the ball.ย Rousseau just ran Waddle down with his own speed and size. 1 1 Quote

Doohicksie Posted November 3 Report Posted November 3 Well that was fun. There was a wedding in Dallas last night and a bunch of people came down from Buffalo (the groom's from Buffalo).ย They came out to Fort Worth to watch the game at Buffalo Bros.ย They brought big WNY energy, especially when Bass nailed the 61 yard field goal. 4 Quote
Pimlach Posted November 3 Report Posted November 3 (edited) Another Bills win. ย Tough game, Miami had their season on the line and they needed it. ย Tua had no rust. ย I knew this game was going to be close. ย The Bills answered the bell like good teams do. ย The Bill are better, they are the more composed and better coached team of the two. ย I ALWAYS love beating Miami, I survived the Bills going โOh for the โ70โsโ to that team. ย I am enjoying the win. ย ย Listening to McDermottโs post game interview, they mentioned his reluctance to play rookies very much. ย He made it clear that you earn your way on the roster and in the games. ย You have to beat out a vet, and McD has to be able to look that vet in the eye if the rookie takes his spot. ย He said numerous times โyou earn your time on the fieldโ and he makes that clear to everyone. ย He also has a knack for having his backups ready to go when injuries occur. ย He gets a lot of second guessing, so Iโm pointing out a clear strength that he has. ย Contrast that to what Sabres coaches have to deal with no significant veteran base on the roster and young players given ice time by design, or because thatโs all we have. I hope Adams heard what McD said. ย Adamโs roster building style really makes it hard on coaches, ย and for young players to develop properly. ย No wonder so many leave and thrive.ย Edited November 4 by Pimlach 5 1 Quote

Dempsey played briefly for the Bills, at the beginning of the Chuck Knox era. ย I was at what I think was the last home loss to the Dolphins in the 70โs. ย Dempsey missed a 37โish yard FG in the final seconds, it would have ended the streak. ย It was a rainy but warm game, I came home soaked and dejected. ย Thanks a lot Dempsey. ย The Bills ended that streak in 1980, and the goslposts at Rich Stadium came down. Bills fans were always rabid and crazy. ย 1 Quote
shrader Posted November 4 Report Posted November 4 I just want to throw this one out there. The dolphins have as many wins as the Carolina panthers. Iโll hang up and listen.ย Quote

Eli Cash Posted November 4 Report Posted November 4 If you havenโt had a chance to watch McDermott and Bass in the locker room, definitely check it out. ย A great display of emotion. Then instead of relying on JA17 heroics they played for the safe long kick. Which is as much of a compliment for JA17 as it is on the coaching. Then he pays dividends. SwampD Posted November 4 Report Posted November 4 I know Iโm going to catch flack for this from Idemo, but I wonder if they would have decided to kick it for the tie. Quote
