Crusader1969 Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 Any chance they throw 3 times in a row again? 1 Quote
mjd1001 Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 Looks like a win for the Bills, they are playing an ugly game though, not that much fun to watch especailly with every single play you see you are left wondering if it counts or not because of the number of penalties. Quote

triumph_communes Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 What an absolute train wreck of a game. Third one in a row. At least this time the Jets managed to throw harder Thank god for Johnson and Rapp 1 Quote
Gatorman0519 Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 What a trash game. For goodness sakes Beane make a trade for a WR. 2 1 Quote
Porous Five Hole Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 These are the types of games we lost for years and years during the drought. Thanks JA17! Josh Allen for President. Make Buffalo great again! 2 Quote
JoeSchmoe Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 I watched a lot of 💩'y unentertaining football this weekend. Thought this game would be the good one. I was wrong. Thank God for 🍺. Quote
calti Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 McD................ On a hail mary..vs a hail mary specialist.. What do you not do? You do not rush two men. You do not give the QB a nice comfy amt of time to get off a good throw while at the same creating confusion downfield. Quote

The cap is going to make that difficult this year. The currently have 3.3M in space and that doesn’t count the need for a new kicker. I would keep an eye on Amari Cooper. His base salary is affordable and he has no guaranteed money due next year. 1 Quote
carpandean Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 (edited) I'd like to thank the Jets' defender for encroaching on the Bass field goal attempt. The way things were going, I don't know if he makes it otherwise. 3 minutes ago, calti said: McD................ On a hail mary..vs a hail mary specialist.. What do you not do? No, see, they were guarding the sidelines, but the Jets surprisingly switched to hail mary. (I'm paraphrasing what he said before heading into the locker room.) 🤯 Edited October 15 by carpandean Quote

Flashsabre Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 (edited) I think the Jets are 1-2 more losses away from a Rodgers meltdown. Guy’s body language is brutal and he looks like every hit might be his last. So this week: 1) workout new kickers 2) 4 straight days of practicing knocking balls down on Hail Marys in the end zone. I thoroughly enjoyed that look on his face at the end of the game. That look of a man who took entirely way too much acid, and is staring blankly into the unknown abyss as he feels it all starting to kick in. 1 1 Quote

His face is nothing but bone and skin. I was joking with my friends tonight about how we’re all older than him but yet he looks much older than all of us. I don’t get it. But man, I want my money back after watching that one and I didn’t even spend anything. Quote
calti Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 Rodgers post game called out the BS RTP call on Epeneza . Who else would do that? No one .Thats who. Rodgers team is close . They are very competitive. But he should have picked a different team at his age. Quote
Night Train Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 Winning ugly. 4-2 and lots to work on. Good shot to go 5-2 at home vs. Tenny. Keep running the ball. 3 Quote
Pimlach Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 Great win given the circumstances- division game, MNF, end loss streak, 3rd straight road game, Jets rallying around new coach, etc. Ugly officiating from start to finish. Both teams were hurt by it. Some things to clean up. Hail Mary, full of grace. Game Balls to Ray Davis, Josh Allen, Taron Johnson, and Rapp. Take the W. Move on. 1 1 Quote

What does 13 seconds have to do with todays game, the fact that over 20 penalties were accepted between both teams and, especially toward the end, it seems like you can't even 'enjoy' the outcome of any play because you are looking for a flag? You know, let me give you a few other examples....you watch a college football game and the same thing happens, important play after important play, only to be reversed a few seconds later by a flag. Or, a goal called back in the nhl because of an offsides penalty, only to happen again later in the same game (you get to the point where you can't really enjoy the goal because you are thinking they are going to 'over-officiate' things and take away anything spontaneous). I was getting that feeling toward the end of the game last night because of flags against both sides, they were becoming almost as important to both teams as the result of an individual play on the field. For the viewer, fan of the Bills or Jets or just casually watching it, it took away from the game. I'm not referencing what happened a couple years ago at all, I was making a statement about last night. Not sure what you mean by "are you new here"???? Edited October 15 by mjd1001 1 Quote

Did the press ask McD about about rushing 2 on that play? You just can’t allow that kind of time to any QB, let alone one 40 years old with declining mobility. The Bills needed to rush 5 and force a throw much earlier. More bad decision making. Bass is becoming a head case. They need to find a way to send him to IR and pick up a nobody off the street. The cap situation with this guy is not good, and maybe he can come back in the spring but something is off with this dude, and you cannot rely on him at all. If he stays, decisions to go for it on 4th down must be altered. The Bass effect. The better team won. 2 Quote
