Claypool is someone who has proven that he's not going all out for the team and that he definitely loves himself and likes to show it. I wouldn't want him on the team. But to hate him? He ain't worth the energy. Perhaps he's been humbled. Perhaps he has changed. Who knows but let's leave it to that and see what happens. I think far too often the criticism of public figures goes beyond the public figure and bleeds into personal attacks. None of us want to be personally attacked and being a public figure should not open the door for it. Fundamentally I just don't want to erode what the word hate means. With the loss of 5 captains, we all wonder about the locker room. I just booked airfare to see my parents in early August and looking forward to seeing training camp at SJF college. (Not calling either SJF or Canisius Universities just yet). The team went from having an absolute HOF legend on PBP, to having the inevitably okay guy follow the legend, to installing a guy who’s a solid grilled chicken sandwich when you’re at a very good steak and chops joint. Even the TV Network guys are less than stellar. Call the wrong players constantly and read bad notes on players they know little about. Hell just 2 years ago I was at the Cleveland clinic and unable to really walk due to a spinal cord lesion that came on out of nowhere. It sucks to see Kim completely changed as a human, you can see the struggle to just walk and lift her hand.
