thewookie1 Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 Well since Dallas’s goal we’ve been all over them like butter on bread and Oettinger has stood on his head 1 1 Quote
Big Guava Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 (edited) Only the Sabres could be outshooting a team 14-2 halfway thru the 1st and still losing 1-0. Just SMFH at this team sometimes. Edited February 7 by Big Guava 1 Quote
FrenchConnection44 Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 Really good shift with the Cozens line a few minutes back. All five did well hanging on to the puck, keeping it in the zone, and being aggressive to keep possession. We need more of that aggressiveness. Their goalie is playing well. Quote
CallawaySabres Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 Forecheck , forecheck some more, and don’t stop forechecking until there are zeros on the clock! Not bad so far 2 Quote

Compared to the snipers in the All-Star games, our shooters are awful… Girgensons shoots over the net at an open corner from 15 feet in the slot… No poise. 1 Quote
CallawaySabres Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 And I don’t wanna hear anymore about goalies playing well against us, it is the Sabres inability to score, never the goalies. 1 Quote
HumanSlinky39 Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 Solid energy/effort so far, we're getting goalied. Keep up the pressure. Quote
CallawaySabres Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 We have made backup, goalies and starter goalies alike, look like world beaters for 10 years in a row Quote

HumanSlinky39 Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 Feels like we've possessed the puck for 90% of this period but nothing to show for it. 1 Quote
OverPowerYou Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 For the past several years with the exception of half the season last year, the Buffalo Sabres look like your average citizen skating in a public skating rink. WHY ARE THEY SO SLOW AND LETHARGIC? 1 Quote

Big Guava Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 (edited) You would think with as many shots as they throw at these goalies we would get some crazy deflection or bounce off a skate like happens against us all too frequently, but it never seems to happen for us... Chair Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 With how much offensive zone pressure the Sabres have, why hasn't a penalty been called against Dallas Curious Quote
HumanSlinky39 Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 Getting prime chances but these guys either fire buckshot or right into Oettinger. Quote

DarthEbriate Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 Clifton... take it all the way to the net. Get it mucky. Quote
