It's probably rivalry-weighted too; I doubt teams in the west are singling out Skinner as the one vote so there's a spread on players. I assume a Sabres player would pick someone on Toronto and Ottawa (or at least they play a few times a year) due to "familiarity breeds contempt".

Everyone’s pick should be Marchand until he retires.  I mean, look at that beak.

The Athletic is pretty inexpensive and an excellent site.

Skinner yaps and whines a lot. If we, as a team, were more relevant I'd bet he'd rank higher on the list. Much higher. We, as a team, are easily dismissed though.

Seems like they constantly have a sale going. My current membership is a year for $10 that I got last April.
