Meh. He fell

Yes, he fell but he took a few shots, lost his helmet in the process.

Courageous attempt.

Note to  Fans in Attendance:

Hockey is emotion. This team must dread home games because of the continuous booing, which is really embarrassing to the home team and gives the visitor the edge. I know it's been a looonnnng twelve years (and Pegula sucks!) but I ask the fans to try to forget the bad history and to not to be so quick to boo the team. They are young and fragile and need the crowd behind them. Not to be continually kicked in the ass. Otherwise , bad plays cause booing and booing causes bad plays, over and over again. The next thing you know, it's another loss. So rally behind them if at all possible. Booing only gets them down and makes them play uptight and worse.

Absolutely not. If they suck they get the boos. The fact you insinuate the justified fan reaction is part of this team’s problem is laughable.

How about they stop being fragile pansies and give the fans a reason to cheer.

Good Evening Teammates, Punch checking in.

Big game and if we are  ever going to make a move why not start tonight at home?

Fan support is really dropping.  In Buffalo, and here at SabreSpace. Lots of empty seats.

Goatheads, that used to matter. Maybe the team gets excited tonight

Go Sabres, Muscle Weight.   Grumble, grumble, …

What’s next? Blame the fans for not spending their money on tickets because an empty arena hurts the player’s feelings?

If ever there was a post that needed to be rethought.

Boom… JJ… Last second of PP… but only two shots… Gotta shoot the puck

JJP has been looking for that.  Power play ended and they made a play to the net and shot.

Decline all future penalties.

Opposing net front presence stymied us again.

And the Sabres (Mitts) had the puck in the corner and just lazily passed it up to the point.  Casey's usually better than that.

Odd that the only way the Sabres were able to score on the PP (because all they do is stand around) was to turn it into a rush chance. Nice goal, though.

I believe it was actually full strength

I step away for a few minutes… come back and it’s tied…

Get one before the period ends…
