Yes, BUT....he should have at least made it more of an honest 2-on-1 vs. immediately going to the puck carrier, who was no threat on the far left wall.  The more dangerous player was the one coming in from the right...which Power completely ignored

He was put in a damned if you do, damned if you don't position as a result of the lack of back checking. Your blame should be with the forwards lolligagging back.

I wonder if he thought he would have a forward coming back and leaned the wrong way and then sold out when he realized he couldn't recover.

It’s the blame the defenseman in the TV screen.  
 

Watch the Kracken play a layers.  It always appears that 2 are near loose pucks.  The are well coached.
