Good Game Day Sabre Spacers, starting 6 game home-stand and are looking to extend the win streak to 3 games tonight....

  • Sabres currently sit 8th for WC2 spot, with the Kracken in 4th in the west.
  • While the Sabres sit 6 pts. out of both WCs, they still need to pass 6 teams (only 4 in front of Sabres have 1 or 2 games in hand).
  • The Boys in Blue need to get their first win ever vs. Kracken, and pull 1 pt. ahead of MTL (travelling to PHL tomorrow).

Seattle has won 6 straight and haven't lost in regulation since 12/10/23. Basically, they've been really good ever since Grubauer got hurt and Daccord took over as the #1.

They're even with Edmonton and St. Louis in points for the final Western wild card, but are out of the playoffs because they trail in regulation wins. The Kraken love the loser point (9 so far).

They can't lose every game they ever play against the Krackers, so why not get that 1st win tonight?

Will be a great test as to whether they've turned a corner with the flipping of the calendar.
