What about if the Sabres miss the playoffs this season, but improve upon their point total from last season? Reasonable successful season from Adams and the Sabres? Or does the preseason expectation of making the playoffs remain in tact?

What say you?

Anything less than making the playoffs would be unacceptable. I understand that it's highly unlikely, at this point, that the Sabres will get in.

There should no leg to stand on if you missed the playoffs by one single win last year. The team is essentially the same, with minor upgrades. There is no excuse

I remain hopeful, however. Keep the winning streak going. A lot can change in just a few weeks time

They need to run the table in January if they want to catch anyone's eye.

When you posed the question, I replied “Ready”

Now, I agree with @PerreaultForever…

Sabres are Quitters… The lot of them… Owner, Management, and Players

Of course the original intent was to find a somewhat snarky alternative to streaking.

With the streak over I guess this becomes a mildly interesting exercise on the overall state of the team.

Can’t collect those juicy paychecks if you quit!

In order to quit something, one has to start the task to begin with.
