I beat you by a few months. Pro tip: don't get a Medicare Advantage plan. Get A & B plus gap and prescription plans. You'll pay more now but but you're better off in the long run. Quote

Wyldnwoody44 Posted May 6, 2024 Report Posted May 6, 2024 We going by actual age or the age we feel inside, because I go from the Saved by the bell Zack Morris to Grad torino Clint Eastwood reallllll quick in that case. Quote
Doohicksie Posted May 6, 2024 Author Report Posted May 6, 2024 (edited) One thing that helps how you (the general you, not any you in particular) feel is weight. I was as heavy as I'd ever been in March and I felt like I was in a death spiral of aches and pains. I thought I was going to have to break down and see a doctor about my knees. I've dropped 25 pounds and the aches and pains have largely evaporated. I've done bigger weight losses in the past and this was true each time. Taking the load off feet, knees, hips and back (particularly losing that offset weight of a big belly) does wonders. Edited May 6, 2024 by Doohickie 3 1 Quote

I have been doing weight training, walking, golf, eliminating bad food, almost no sweets/deserts, and cutting way back on alcohol. I am 65, retired for 3 years, and man do I feel great. Gonna keep it going. 8 1 Quote
