Sabres Fan in NS Posted December 20, 2023 Report Posted December 20, 2023 Indeed. The Sabres did not want him. Now I feel like I need to shower after addressing this nonsense. 1 1 1 Quote

They meet former Sabres players and what do you think they hear? What do you think ROR told the boys in St Louis? What do you think Reinhart and Montour tell the the guys on Florida? Nothing good for sure. The problems with the franchise start at the very top and that stink permeates all the way down. This is not a secret requiring inside knowledge. 2 Quote

Kane hasn't owned a house in Buffalo in almost 5 years and tried to sell said home as late as 7 years ago. This isn't his home. https://www.wgrz.com/article/money/patrick-kane-nets-25-million-in-house-sale/71-ad4e994d-6f56-43da-b302-c47033738fb3 Edited December 20, 2023 by LGR4GM Quote

His house was for sale back then. I assume its sold by now? He has probably spent more of his coming of age years in the Detroit area than in Buffalo. Edited December 20, 2023 by Pimlach Quote
DarthEbriate Posted December 20, 2023 Report Posted December 20, 2023 The real reason: he wanted to sink the Wings. He's an internal agent for the Hawks (the Wings' ancient nemesis from the old Norris/Central days). They're 1-5-1 since he started playing. 1 1 Quote
DarthEbriate Posted December 20, 2023 Report Posted December 20, 2023 Also, check the VO production since Kane joined the Wings: 7 GP 1-1-2 Even And with only a bit more than half the time on ice. Avg TOI: VO 11:07 v. Kane 19:25 Quote

Sabres Super Fan Posted December 21, 2023 Report Posted December 21, 2023 (edited) It was crushing for the Buffalo Sabres franchise because he had a name to help sell tickets. Yes Patrick Kane’s best days are behind him but he has marquee which the Buffalo Sabres need to sell tickets. When the Buffalo Sabres ask for public money New York State residents are going to say you can’t fill the arena why should Buffalo and New York State make that public investment? The Buffalo Sabres attendance is a huge problem now in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo Edited December 21, 2023 by Sabres Super Fan 1 Quote

You don't have to be a NHL insider to know what every casual hockey fan has known for a long time. Quote

OverPowerYou Posted December 21, 2023 Report Posted December 21, 2023 (edited) The problem with the Sabres is that they bring in veterans and NHL stars like Steve Ott, Brian Gionta, Eric Staal, Taylor Hall, Kyle Okposo when it’s 3 years too late. Just stop taking risks on prospects and make a trade for a proven player in their prime for once! Edited December 21, 2023 by OverPowerYou 1 Quote

sabrefanday1 Posted December 21, 2023 Report Posted December 21, 2023 Who cares? Detroit has stunk since signing him...coincidence? I dont' believe in coincidences and besides Kane is the exact oppostie of what this team needs. It does not need another floater... I wish for Marcus back for Xmas (or someone to add some muscle please) 1 Quote
Skibum Posted December 21, 2023 Report Posted December 21, 2023 It doesn't take insider knowledge to know that the Sabres organization is a dumpster fire. Quote
