Not the start I expected… Been in this situation so often after 1st periods…

How will the team respond?…

The crowd boos again.  Seems like almost every home game.   You would think they would try harder at home.  I just don’t get it.

The crowd in Buffalo, they are conditioned to seeing bad play, so they do not cheer unless something good happens.  They can’t invest anymore.

The energy in that place is zero.  Even that little dump in Phoenix had more going on.

They are a young team full of high end draft picks surrounded by veterans.

And this is the year we are teaching defense, right?

Can someone please help me understand something. If this is the year we're teaching defense, it appears that either the team isn't listening, or the teacher isn't teaching, or it is a combination of both. . . befuddled   BTW, ok to challenge my logic.

go Sabres

Adams has built a young team that exerts no effort. What a total s###show.

Would be a good reason to fire a coach though.    Need one like Gallant to kick their *****.

This team has zero direction or leadership. They are poorly coached and seem uninterested far too often. No accountability, just talk. There's still (barely) time to salvage this season, but does Adams have the apples to actually fire his buddy and get a coach that can LEAD?

We've seen glimpses of what they're capable of. That's what makes watching this ***** so frustrating.

Zero chance Adams does anything.  And even if he miraculously did want to fire Granato, he can’t do it unless Pegula agrees first, which likely ain’t happening til April at the earliest and more likely not until 2025.

Sadly, I agree; but sometimes I like to scream into the void.

Why would Gallant work with Adams?  Gallant is going to want to age up the lineup, something Adams won't do.

Dahlin interview… Sounds like a familiar refrain from a Sabres player…

Time to change the script.

What has happened to Power and Samuelsson? It’s truly mind boggling how both have forgotten how to play their roles.

Dahlin looks annoyed in his interview and for good reason.

This team frankly just doesn’t make sense because we see them play great some games but also terrible some games. Some can be attributed to inexperience but you can’t exactly handwave away going from 10 to 1 game to game.

"Can easily beat this team" Dylan?

For reference, Paul Hamilton interviewed Cozens during the intermission and Dylan said, "We can easily beat this team"

I think Dahlin will want out by the end of next season. Like so many before him, he's not staying, as many point out, it's a freaking ***** show.

It was maddening to watch the defense in their own zone, with full control of the puck and a clear lane to pass or at least clear the zone, but instead they pass it laterally and the Blue Jackets just take the puck away.  This is like pee wee level stuff that they're screwing up.  Everyone on D all the way up to Dahlin is doing this tonight.
