My conclusion on UPL is that he suffers from performance anxiety that he masks through concentration except for when the intensity/anxiety level elevates suddenly like during a break-away or the occurrence of something unexpected.

Of course Granato and Adams are happy punting to 2024-25, it’s buying them job security. It’s all part of their plan to keep their jobs. Having the youngest team in the league keeps giving them a built in excuse when they miss the playoffs each year. They will be an even younger team next year after jettisoning Okposo, Johnson and Girgs. Hopefully Pegula will figure out what’s going on here eventually. Won’t hold my breath.

They have ZERO goals and have been outplayed.  It’s not on the goalie, even though he gave the puck away.  It’s the other 18.

Nobody snuffs out goodwill like the Buffalo Sabres. Almost 40% of the way through the season, these chumps have won back-to-back ONCE; none since 10/29-11/1.

If the goalie didn't have panic attacks during the game we'd at least tie it for a point. Which would be an improvement.

Just got in. First play I see is Clifton making a beer league play on the puck all alone on right wing.

It hasn't gotten appreciably better.
