There are guys who can play hockey on this team and they seem to just float around out there for 40 - 50 minutes. Like Skinner was lights out in the 3rd. That was good hockey from him. 1 Quote

rickshaw Posted December 6, 2023 Report Posted December 6, 2023 The sooner this team realizes starts are important and that they aren’t the 80’s Oilers and coming back from 4-0 isn’t the norm, well maybe they’ll have a chance. 1 1 Quote
ska-T Chitown Posted December 6, 2023 Report Posted December 6, 2023 life long buffalo sports fan ... you wanna lose? I can deal with that - so much practice ... but at least freakin' try? On the plus side, my tears of apathy really opened up some hidden notes in this bourbon! 🥃 1 2 2 Quote
bunomatic Posted December 6, 2023 Report Posted December 6, 2023 There are no moral victories. Sure Donnie will try and use the near comeback to get them going but pfffft, they lost. Sleepwalked through the first two periods. Not good enough. It was nice to have Tage back. Thats all I got. G’nite. 1 Quote
Big Guava Posted December 6, 2023 Report Posted December 6, 2023 So tired of this team only playing once they are down 3 or 4-0. Do they realize it's OK to actually score the first goal of the game and they won't be penalized for it? That it's actually a good thing? Do they realize that once they give up 1 goal to start the game they can actually come back to tie it and don't have to give up 2 or 3 more in a row? What the hell is this teams plan coming into games at this point? Just skate around and do nothing until you are down 4-0 and then try and come back? Why can't the players be accountable to themselves and each other to be ready to play in the first period when the game starts? When does Granato step in and actually stop being Mr. Nice Guy and start blasting them? This season is turning into a giant sh!t show and it's unacceptable for a team with this much young talent on it. Quote
Believer Posted December 6, 2023 Report Posted December 6, 2023 I don’t want to hear Granato… Give it a rest, Coach… Let’s hear from Tage and Mitts… and some PO’d from both. Quote

If good players aren't doing what they should be doing. That's what good coaches do. If guys aren't held accountable for half-assing, missing assignments, making mental errors, how do you expect them to change? Quote

pastajoe Posted December 6, 2023 Report Posted December 6, 2023 Granato will say he liked their compete in the 3rd and it’s something to build on (before they get their ***** handed to them in Boston). Another excuse to rinse and repeat. 1 Quote

Gatorman0519 Posted December 6, 2023 Report Posted December 6, 2023 (edited) 2 points from not just the basement of the division, but of the conference. And Ottawa has 6 games at hand. Welcome to hockey hell. Edited December 6, 2023 by Gatorman0519 Quote

Second Line Center Posted December 6, 2023 Report Posted December 6, 2023 Have to essentially go 36-20 to just get to 94 points. I’m not even sure that would be enough. This is decision time KA. Quote
