JCBoston Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 If Kalinin has a broken foot, why was he walking around after Game 2 with an ice pack on his left knee?
Corp000085 Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 As long as PTS does not = Soprano, we're in good shape!
Stoner Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 PTS' source is a man he calls Deep Throat. They meet behind the Aud late at night.
chileanseabass Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 i heard deep throat only charges $15.00 on game nights, and if the sabres score 5 in the third period it's free
Stoner Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 PTS is a professional journalist! He does NOT pay for information! Right away, rumor number one seems to be out the window. I hope the others are wrong too.
chileanseabass Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 PTS is a professional journalist! He does NOT pay for information! oh, we were talking about rumors. that's what i get for not reading all the posts.
SDS Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 PTS' source is a man he calls Deep Throat. They meet behind the Aud late at night. after he takes him out for drinks and a movie?
Dan Gross Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 after he takes him out for drinks and a movie? I hope he at least gets a reach-around for all the great info... BTW, the ice pack on the knee is a new technique to cool the whole lower leg. ;)

BTW, the ice pack on the knee is a new technique to cool the whole lower leg. ;) Well, now that the word's out that Kalinin has a busted ankle it's time to "unbust" Mr. Clutch. I'll eat my crow for that one. One out of three proven "close enough" to right. One definitely wrong, the other hopefully wrong...
LabattBlue Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 Just a hunch, but I believe Connolly is done for the year. Personally, if what I just stated it true, I do not understand the secrecy from revealing the nature of the injury. I really don't believe that the opponent has a "game plan" for a specific player unless you are one of the top superstars in the league. For my sake, I hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, it seems odd that they'd come out and say Kalinen's out for the series, and still say Connolly is "day to day" if they knew better, but....
