Wook, we're not talking top line players here. You know it, I know it, hell, just about everyone knows it. So what are we talking on the cap stamp? An extra 8 mil, offsetting the cap by sending some elsewhere? And really, 13 is using some unbelievably liberal asset spending, as if "All Of These Assets Will Be Sabres And they Will Carry US To Hockey Heaven. We've need the umbrella for the youth. I've conceded this to my thoughts on the team well over a year ago. Where ya at in your line of thought.

What I'm expressing is well within the realm of reason.

Needed to get experience on the roster to teach young guns how to ride through the season. This would have included 1 ideally 2 4th line energy guys who can also provide some level of protection & leadership on ice, (winning experience, leadership & knowledge on & off ice). EJ not enough. Oakie, Skinny, & Z - none have the winning part….

I have said this multiple times now. GMKA can’t keep all his boys- they are assets that must be used (w team on ice or trades) to make the team somehow competitive. This is where GM makes hay….

They have needed either veteran skaters to help cover for the inexperienced goalkeepers or a veteran goalkeeper to cover for the inexperienced skaters.  Over 3 offseasons, that seems reasonable to me.

We've tried that with more players than either one of us care to remember.  It didn't work.  Over the last 3 seasons? No, unless we'd like to count Clifton and Johnson.  Mmm, not good.  

To get players better than them, we have to massively over pay and KA isn't doing it.  I agree with him.
