Well, DG did say during his on-ice interview that Dahlin was going to get his ice time no matter what (7 D).   Tough break for sure and an incredibly accurate shot.  Last year's team could overcome a 2-0 deficit with 1 period to go......I don't feel that way about this year's team.

The Sabres are the younger and faster team. Buffalo is playing Pittsburghs game and they suck at this.

The days of losing 6-5 seem like a fond memory versus this $hitshow.

This team is just cursed…. There is literally no other explanation because even bad teams with bad owners stumbled into good luck at times. We have perpetual bad luck with everything. 
 

Muel flubs a pass they score, Dahlin, who has played well, fans a pass and immediately they score. 
 

We could shoot 100 pucks on net and we’d score 5 times. Everyone else would get bounces and/or help and get 10 to 15.

After two, Donnie playing Dahlin 17 minutes, Power 13, Muel almost 12.  Four others span the 7 to 9 minute range. 
 

I don’t know why we won’t go back to four lines.  This is feeling a bit too Krueger-like.
