Won't someone think of the poor Fox News reporter that spent all day polishing up the article blaming President Biden for this terrorist attack, only for it not to be used?

Nah, those things are basically mad libs so they can replace all the "rainbow Bridge attacks" with whatever the next crisis is.

Yes facts do matter. As they come out a better picture of what actually happened will emerge. Was any eyewitness account purposely ignored or suppressed? Did those news stations just have bad sources?

Not sure what you are getting at with your last sentence. Never said we are in a final investigative stage. I said preliminary reporting does not have all the information a final investigation would have.

Yes, it seems like it.  Please check this time stamp and reference it to other news outlets and their stories:

Just saw a video of the car accelerating then flying in the air and apparently crashing into a barrier.

Just a coincidence it happened at the "rainbow" bridge ?  Not to Fox News I'm sure.
it beyond mind blowing that anyone relies on them for their news.
hopefully people that watch will eventually realize that they are reporting news as you want to hear. Not what is actually happening

Omg!!!! So you are telling me that terrorists are now gambling???

You wouldn't believe me if I told you.

Just saying, there's a reason for FinCEN and the US Secret Service to work very closely with every single casino in the country.

I saw internet nutters claiming that since it happened on the 60th anniversary of Kennedy assassination it clearly means x, y and z. Anything for clicks

Oh for sure. I'm just saying, it's more than just drug dealers laundering money.

Worse than fox news, how about politicians or presidential candidates(Vivek), calling it a terrorist attack with no evidence. Don't want any of them near the nuclear button... oops.

I think American news is crazy and it's driving the country crazy (along with the internet "news" sources as well of course). Constant drama and over reaction all the time.

For clarity, there was only one network "driving the country crazy" with their inaccurate "reporting" today. And that was Fox News. The other networks I watched today were doing their job.

Not entirely. I don't see all the U.S. networks any more (cut the cord ages ago) but NBC has a youtube feed and the dramatic tone and way they cover even the simplest stories has me laughing a lot. Contrast it with Canadian news on the CBC or CTV and you will see what I mean. Two identical stories, one will cover it like a serious event the other LIKE THE SKY IS FALLING AND WE ALL COULD DIE DIE DIE................... They have lost perspective entirely. Walter Cronkite is rolling in his grave.

Absolutely. They couldn't wait to promote they're narrative and it backfired on them. I don't watch much cable news because all three are not legitimate news channels. The court ruled years ago that they're entertainment programming but they're still allowed to use the news itle.

Do we blame them for SabreSpace drama and over reaction too? 🙂

In all seriousness, those who were on here posting "preliminary reports" should not do so unless they want to link to the specific source that was saying it. Situations like this can be serious and we've unfortunately all been witness to it. It's right to consider the possibilities of something like this but equally important to consider the probabilities and demonstrate constraint.

If you don't cite a source then it might as well just be you posting it. There's no evidence it was actually said by anyone other than you or that you are not just playing the part of conspiracy theorist and fearmonger.

It’s actually incredible to see what Fox News reported. Car full of explosives, from Canada, Muslims, Israel, Hamas etc

When it’s a car from the US side flying literally through the air at 100mph.

Its extremely scary that people believe what they say on a daily basis.

And then our idiot opposition leader goes into the House of Commons and spews the “report” that he clearly got from Fox. A guy who can’t be briefed because he hasn’t got security clearance. Can’t make this stuff up.

This fox news report should serve as a reminder to report facts, not fiction.

Of course this turned into a pissing match of politics.

Maybe move this thread to the club.

There isn't one single US based news outlet that isn't biased.

Glad to see it doesn't appear like yet another terrorist attack. Things are getting cray cray out there.
