It’s an indictment of the forwards because they feel they can carry 3 goalies without removing a key forward

Sure would be nice to see Benson pot one on game #9 for him.  Even if he gets sent back, having a goal on his stat sheet would be a nice way to end his NHL stint for 2023.  If he stays, then maybe having the monkey off his back will do wonders.

They had a couple of good chances with Girgs out there with Tuch and Skinner.  Girgs doesn't have the finish, but maybe if you put him with finishers his jam could create opportunities.  Either that or Skinny and Tuchy are gonna get good chances regardless of who else is out there.

Even your most talented lines need someone who does the boardwork and is just a bit more of a grinder, or just crazy. They often end up having great 3-year runs and then disappear while the superstars do their work. Your Kevin Stevenses. More recently in Toronto - Hyman or Bunting.
