High level is that it that those teams held each other accountable. They were pissed off after losing. Lindy’s practices after bad games were miserable. When the goal scorers were not scoring they went to the net and try to get momentum scoring dirty goals. Vanek would go to the net and take cross checks from Chara over and over. The power play lines would compete to be the primary line.
