GGM Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 This guy can't seem to follow the puck at all.
Campy Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 I'd love to see it. OLN is showing something along the lines of World's Worst Outdoor Job, at least it is for me. But you're able to see the game?
GGM Posted October 10, 2005 Author Report Posted October 10, 2005 I am indeed able, but now the sound is going in and out too... All in all, a terrible broadcast so far.
Guest Guest_pwner Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 Yeah, it's bad. They have a lot of work to do.
BetweenThePipes00 Posted October 10, 2005 Report Posted October 10, 2005 They couldn't find camera guys who have done hockey before? puzzling .... Sabres look good so far though ...
ricogarion Posted October 11, 2005 Report Posted October 11, 2005 These cameramen have been doing fishing shows, now you want them to follow a moving puck? Geez!!!
shrader Posted October 11, 2005 Report Posted October 11, 2005 The entire production quality for OLN was horrible. Their graphics look like they're out of the 80's. Every transition to a commercial break was very awkward. The audio on the intermission show was very poor. It sounded like something you'd find on public access tv. OLN needs to make some serious changes. This entire broadcast made the NHL look like some second or third rate league and that's the last thing they need right now.
Guest Guest Posted October 11, 2005 Report Posted October 11, 2005 how come i have adelphia digital cable and couldnt find oln on my channels?!?!...i was beyond pi@@ed when i got home from work at 9 to catch the end of the game and couldnt find the channel..anybody who can explain this to me plz do..
Guest Ricem99 Posted October 11, 2005 Report Posted October 11, 2005 I have OLN on Time Warner Cable in Syracuse, but the game wasn't on. Some fishing show. Called a friend in California, not on there either. Bring back ESPN!!!
inkman Posted October 11, 2005 Report Posted October 11, 2005 This entire broadcast made the NHL look like some second or third rate league and that's the last thing they need right now. If the shoe fits...
cesna Posted October 11, 2005 Report Posted October 11, 2005 I agree... It was like watching some 80s broadcast on International Cable. WOW, you would think Gary Betman would be at Comcast's throat!
inkman Posted October 11, 2005 Report Posted October 11, 2005 These cameramen have been doing fishing shows, now you want them to follow a moving puck? Geez!!! I guess that answers the age old question, "Which is harder to capture on film, hockey or fly fishing?"
