WhenWillItEnd66 Posted October 20, 2023 Report Posted October 20, 2023 How many years has it been since we had someone that would enter the zone and go straight to the front of the net and take the beatings and cause chaos? How many times have we seen other teams enter our zone and go straight to our net while we do little to clear the way?? This is all basic hockey 101. You can have all the skill in the world but outside snipe shots can only get you so far. If the Sabres do not change their offensive and defensive way of thinking, it is going to be a long year. The way to beat the Sabres is very easy: forecheck, crash our net, and keep Sabres to the outside in the Offensive zone. Quote
#freejame Posted October 20, 2023 Report Posted October 20, 2023 Sam Reinhart was great in front of the net and half the board hated him because he would sometimes fall down 2 3 Quote

Yep. Exactly. Very small amount. Before Sam would it be… Vanek? Quote
SABRES 0311 Posted October 20, 2023 Report Posted October 20, 2023 I thought this was gonna be one of those threads where a “ghost” is in a picture someone took but it’s really them sucking at taking a picture. Like Angels in the Outfield but it’s a demon controlling Clifton’s body making him a liability. 3 Quote

We are a very easy team to play against and have been for a really long time. Pegula hockey is not winning hockey. 1 Quote

He caused more chaos off the ice than on it. 1 Quote

I was just referring to guys that stood in front of the net and took a beating… That was the topic that was being discussed at that moment. Before Sam Reinhart I thought was… Vanek, but maybe I’m incorrect. Quote
