It really was derelict and shocking to have the offseason that Kevyn had, and they needed to start hot to not make me extremely skeptical of him getting any more time to play with my hockey team's roster. I will be done with him if we still look like this by game 15

Levi was the best player on the team tonight.

No.  No he wasn't.  I'm thinking the answer to the goalie conundrum is to send him down to Rochester.

Why in the world would we pay money for the crap they put out there... This isn't on the fans.

That's what fans do. Go to games.

Especially ones that like to say they're the greatest fans in the world.

It must suck playing in Buffalo.

How do you get pumped up when fans don't show up.

Impossible to gain a home ice  advantage.

Lol it’s not the fans fault for this team. Love when people try to blame the fans or lack thereof. Packed house opening night and they sucked that night too.

Season 6 What GIF by The Office

You kidding?

Not kidding.  I will add that Peterka was also good. Levi made at least 6 huge saves at key times to keep us in it.

Who plays a rookie 4 straight?  Why is he playing tonight?

Yeah, blame it on the fans.

12 years of missing the playoffs in the greatest display of NHL futility... Yeah, sign me up for traffic, 45$ beers and a bad hockey team.

I'll watch from home, and when tickets drop to 7 dollars again, maybe I'll go.

They killed off a passionate fanbase. That’s sad. Obviously people are not buying into the hype. They sense “frauds” yet again.  It will take some time and getting to the playoffs to fill that barn again.

Levi makes some nice saves, but he has a ton to work on, it's obvious even on saves... he should be in Roch playing every night.

Buffalo is ready to contend, but when he's letting in weak goals and looks shaky it completely deflates the team.

First, second and 4th goal he should've had... out of position kicks it in, lost the puck stick not down, flat footed on the goaline too deep in the net.

Because they are terrified to play their other goalies when they are slightly desperate for a win

I remember going downtown to the party in the Plaza. This city bled blue and gold (or red and black) it was awesome going to games, Border waits from all the fans from up north. The team showed effort, even in a loss.

What we're seeing now, is bad, it's low effort, lack of fundamental hockey, no team toughness and grit, no sense that they're coming back at any point.

We've moved from hockey purgatory to one of the deeper circles where the ice is melting.

Team does not look as good as last years club. And once again, just too many regulation losses at home and we’re only a few games in.  To have any chance at the playoffs they need to pile up some points at home and STOP losing in regulation.  At least get a losers point for goodness sakes.

I think they made a mistake playing mixed up lines through the preseason

They should have had the lines put together for a couple of games at least

next game I’m flipping Tuch with Benson, including on the PP

if Tuch continues to handle the puck like a hand grenade, then put him on the 4th line
