Also, did you see 3 Isles in front of Levi on that last goal... No sabres... Just HOW

No worries, in the next Granato interview he'll tell us how the team is upbeat, haven't lost their confidence. 🤣

Same as the Ranger game.  A Questionable call by the referee, and a questionable non call.

Same as the Ranger game - an invisible first period by our first line.

We played better than the score indicates but it’s 2-0.   We need the next goal or else the mountain gets real high

Oh dear. My feed got fixed…. hoping it breaks again. No semblance of a defensive plan

Clifton falls on his ass – goal. Puck shot wide - Clifton sticks his foot out and puts it into the back of the net.

I think the plan should be for him not to be terrible.

They sure look like a team that needs exactly what the fans and players practically begged for, which Kevyn just refused to make happen in a meaningful way for the 3rd straight year

You have to trust the process.  Draft, then slowly acclimate into a culture of losing, then when they finally start to peak as a player you publicly alienate them so that they force their way onto a contender.  You use the return on that trade to draft, then repeat.  This is the way.

Connor Clifton hasn’t exactly covered himself with glory so far in blue and gold.

Nice of the refs to give the Sabres a penalty and the Isles a goal on pretty much the same forecheck.

Jordan Greenway continues to be what the Sabres got him for and his line continues to be impress.

Signs of life from Tuch and Thompson. Hope we can get some more in the 2nd. We’ll need it.

What is it with the reffing we get? Not being a whiner but whenever I watch they seem to get the shaft. It’s not like we are a dirty team. Not a chippy team. Coach is respectful. I don’t get it.

The Sabres dominated that period, but it was countered by Clifton. 😡

If this was a more established team that has done things before, it would be obvious that they are going to come back in this game given the way they owned the puck. But our guys are getting frazzled at every level - in the forward corps, in net, and behind the bench. I'm hoping they can regroup and just keep doing what they were doing the vast majority of that period

CLifton is pure garbage - fcks up a play in the ozone then gets outskated for the first goal.  Scores on himself on goal 2.  There's a reason Boston told him to go away.  Meanwhile Johnson had 3 assists today in Rochester - the clock is ticking quickly.

Tage lina MIA again - terrible turnovers by Skinner and Tage on goal #2

Cozens - not sure he's playing, haven't seen him

Our best player again is an 18 year old

Go Bills

Pegula put his money on the logo, not the stripes this year 🤣

What a wild game.

Clifton is responsible for 2 goals. (With some help from the refs)

Mitts is our best center

I keep noticing Okposo and Greenway on really positive plays.

I thought we were the better team for a portion of this.

Also, it’s crazy that we talk about having a log jam at center and nobody can win an effing face off!

Pleasantly surprised by Benson.

Clifton Is a huge disaster.

Can't believe we're going to be dealing with this b******* all year now

Kind of a fluke play.  Ok, he tripped on the first goal but he also had some good moments.

Sorokin swallowing up the puck tonight.   The isles will now clamp down the neutral zone.

PA is onto something with Brian Duff. An animal rage triggered in my brain as the feed switched back to the studio after that period and he was cackling with a *****-eating grin on his face

Hey, at least they're all friends and love the city of Buffalo! Did you see them all together at the Bills game? Did you see the latest episode of Between Two Stalls?

I know its early regular season hockey which can be mistake prone. But we look like crap!!! How are we not ready for the start of the season?

Dylan Cozens is really fighting it too. With every game that goes by, the longer the new contract guys go without contributing, the sticks will be getting squeezed tighter and tighter.
