Time to go Buff-a-lo. I am looking forward to seeing how this team has matured. Just a few new faces on both O and D and hoping the practice times with these lines and pairing hit the ice running the Rangers out of the building.

Woud be really nice if they went with their backup tonight.  Yeah, we all know it ain't happenin' but still it would be nice to see.

This should be a great game as the Sabres and Rags both bring back most of last year's teams and they played each other tightly last year.  Granato usually has his troops ready for the Opener.  Hoping that holds.

Skinner had teased "Firework" by Katy Perry.  I would have preferred that.  But.. we're good.

I'll pour a nice Macallan 12 year Sherry Oak for the start of the game.  The bottle would take a serious hit if not for me having to go skate at 10:10pm tonight.  On the bright side, my game is late enough to allow me to enjoy the one I want to see.

I'll join you from here and pour a dram of Glenlfiddich 14 to launch the season right. Will follow it up with Wayne Gretzky's No. 99 Double Oaked Whiskey I picked up this summer when my wife & I toured his winery/distillery in Niagra on the Lake - (highly recommend!)

 

May even pair it with a cigar. Cheers brother!
