For the life of me, I cannot remember the site I used last season that compiled prospect stats in a timely manner.  It wasn’t Kris Baker or Elite Prospects.

Yer gettin' old, dood.

Outside the Big 5 to me (Benson, Savoie, Kulich, Rosen, R. Johnson)

Östlund, Novikov, Wahlberg, Strabek, Komarov,Poltapov, Jake Richard, Metsa, Mediema, Marajala, are the names that intrigue me the most this season in the vast world of Sabres prospects. If some of them pop this season then it opens up so many more possibilities for the team moving forward.

In light of Biro’s recall (2g 4a in 5 AHL games), I thought a quick look at who has hit the ground running this season was in order.

AHL

Kulich - 6-3 9 pts in 7 games

Rosen - 4-5 9 pts in 7 games

Rousek - 2-4 6 in 7 games

Kisakov - 3-2 5 in 5 games

Novikov - 0-5 5 in 6 games

Savoie - 1-2 3 in 3 games

Others

Östlund - 4-2 6 in 13 SHL games

Wahlberg - 2-4 6 in 13 SHL games

Poltapov - 4-3 7 in 17 KHL games

Sardarian - 3-2 5 in 5 NCAA games

Lindgren - 2-9 11 in 11 WHL games

Komarov - 2-8 10 in 11 Q games

Richard - 2-5 7 in 8 NCAA games (edit - added)

Miedema - 4-5  9 in 13 games (edit - added)

Panocha - 0-7 7 in 13 games (edit - added)

Oh, thank god!

Corey Pronman says this guy is better than Isak Rosen!

(Sorry, Pronman's last half-assed batch of redrafts are where he officially jumped the shark for me)

only a month late to the call- the charging buffalo used to have a page with all the prospects and their stats. I found my old link, which is now dead. The people behind it seem to be running a substack with blogposts now, but I don't see a consolidated stats page. https://substack.com/@thechargingbuffalo/posts

That must be the site I was using last year.   I now use elite prospects.

I must have missed the OP. I do see they already tossed this out but I use Elite Prospects to keep an eye on the Sabres system as well. I like it because I can sort by PPG and that really helps as some of these guys bounce around a bit.

I know many are aware of how the Amerks prospects are performing ytd and of Savoie’s explosive return to the WHL.

Here’s how a few others are doing.

Mats Lindgren D Red Deer Rebels WHL 18 points in 22 games

Ethan Miedema LW Kingston Frontenacs OHL 17 points in 25 games

Viljami Marjala F TPS Liiga 17 points in 27 games

Vsevolod Komarov D Quebec Remparts QMJHL 16 points in 21 games

Norwin Panocha D Chicoutimi Sagueneens QMJHL 10 points in 26 games

Scott Ratzlaff G Seattle Thunderbirds 3.07 GAA .898 SV%. He had a rough start but seems to be returning to form.
