Any news links on this?

Would have to go look on telegram for this, but when one pops up again I will share it here.

The estimates from the USA are usually lower than Great-Britain or Ukraine.

Iran keeps poking the bear with their piddly proxy “militias” in the region. So far, I like our measured responses like taking out munition depots in Syria and meeting their charged, heated rhetoric with calm and simple statements about not wanting the conflict to escalate and reserving our right to protect our troops and interests in the region all while inserting additional troops and military assets into the theater illustrating our full intention to do so.

People like Ramasmarmy need to understand that it’s our NATO allies as well as those in the Pacific that enable us to deploy such assets in order to meet potential threats.

We are engaged in a shadow war with Iran at the very least. Iran-backed rebels in Yemen thought they’d launch a few cruise missiles at Israel but they were easily destroyed by our anti missile batteries aboard a couple navy destroyers already in the Red Sea. Dozens of A-10 Warthogs arrived in the region, ostensibly to take out the hundreds of Iranian missile and heavily armed gunboats massed on the Lebanese coast if they should decide to attack the fleet in the Eastern Mediterranean. Not to mention the all the other assets we have in the region.

The A-10, a gun with a plane attached.

Thank God Ukraine aid has passed!!

Never should have taken this long, but the Putin wing of the Republican party can be difficult to overcome. The way they parrot Putin’s propaganda is traitorous imo.

China arrives in Belarus for exercise Eagle Assault. A few kilometers from Poland and Ukraine. Could be nothing.

Poland has been gearing up for several years now as seen by their spending of 4% of GDP on their military. They plan on doubling their number of troops to over 300k in the next two years. Poland has lived thru invasions previously and they know that Putin is committed to reconstituting the Soviet Union. If the psychopathic lying sack of orange crap somehow wins in November, Poland won’t hesitate to move troops into Ukraine.

Its not just Poland, baltic states , romania, bulgaria , if Ukraine starts losing too much ground they will go in and help out without nato consent.

Agree entirely. The region remembers its history.

I can even see an Eastern europe "nato" with finland being created if needed.

Again, I agree entirely. There are and will be alliances between/among those countries. Every country in the region, NATO member or not, has the right and authority to defend itself and/or declare war against a perceived aggressor. For example, Poland doesn’t need NATO approval to send troops into Ukraine if that ends up happening. But I suspect NATO would invoke Article 5 for the second time in history if it comes to that.

*****'s getting real in Russia.

Even if the drones aren't inflicting damage, having to activate anti-aircraft batteries in the capital city is not going to favor the war's popularity.

Moscow sees one of Ukraine’s largest drone attacks as fighting rages in Kursk and eastern Ukraine

I also read a report from a Russian source that Ukrainian paratroopers have surrounded Russian soldiers defending Kursk.

Ukrainian Paratroopers May Have Surrounded Russian Soldiers in Kursk

So here we are, on the precipice of Iran launching ballistic missiles towards Israel. Shits getting real.

There are no good guys here, just innocent victims.

And no longer on the precipice...

I cannot stand how anyone can talk about war and then talk about the "rules". If people are crazy enough to engage in these massively destructive actions it's hard to believe they are going to care too much about "rules".

It's disgusting... I sincerely hope we don't see more escalation.

I found this story not only interesting but terrifying. It includes a request by Putin to Elon, to not allow Starlink coverage over Taiwan at the request of Chinese President Xi Jinping. I will be curious to see if the story gets scrubbed from twitter.

All government contracts with Musk businesses should be terminated immediately. Full stop. That fascist puke doesn’t deserve another penny of our tax dollars.

If my employer didn’t have business with SpaceX I’d be 100% on board.

I mean.. if the government wanted to label DJI as a Chinese military company and ban their products it seems only right to ban Musk's products from the US given his open discussions with Russia.
