And I actually feel bad for players like Mitts. He’s had his ups and downs, but may not have seat when the music stops. One large contract means someone else isn’t getting one. I still have reservations about Power’s contract when it was mostly given due to his pedigree and our defense remains suspect.

Signing power now was the smart decision in the end you could be paying him 10m after this year.
