They might keep Bryson as the 8th D if no one is traded, since he’d have to go through waivers.

They don’t invest all the time and money into a young player just to give him up for nothing.

I couldn't get the game on TV so I'm listening to Ray and Dunleavy on WGR. They are much better to listen to compared to the out-of-town broadcasts that I have listened/watched so far.

Game isn't on TV.  it's on the Sabres website.  (Pens broadcast though.)

Hello Teammates, Punch checking in.  Streaming the game from Buffalo Sabres.com and using Airplay to put it on my big screen in the “man cave”.  This tech stuff is alright.

What are you talking about? They gave him all last season to prove himself. 

Waiving players is what all decent teams have to do. Get used to it. We will lose some marginal talent if we keep getting better. Fact of life. He won't get us anything in trade because teams know we have to waive him.

Stillman looking like the 7.   The battle for 8 is Bryson and Clague. One of them will get exposed to waivers. 
 

The good news is we will have Johnson and Novikov in the AHLand both look promising enough to make the top 6 someday.

And they DID give up Fitzgerald for nothing.  So, it happens that they do give up on players.  Personally expect Clague to be the 8 if they keep 8 up.  And should they need to bring the 8 into the lineup, as soon as the injured guy is on IR we'll see R. Johnson get his opportunity to show what he can do.

He was a 4th liner at Minnesota and that will be his destiny in Buffalo, but we need a few prospects to make it for that to happen.
