I know it's pre-season and I know that it's game one, but these Sabres look different.  They are battling hard, whixh is not unexpected since only 2 or 3 are guarnateed t obe on the opening night roster.

A preseason game with not a lot of regulars on either side.

Greenway was very very impressive today. Really moving a lot better then last season. He looks healthy.

The kids looked good overall. 

Benson isn’t going to be too far away. I think he makes the team next year.

I liked Johnson and Novikov on the backend today.

I don’t think so but I wouldn’t be surprised if he did. He is just so smooth and so intelligent out there. He can play with great players and make them better because he always knows when to get the puck to them at the right time.

I predicted he makes it next season but I would like to see a couple games here with Tage and Skinner. I liked the Greenway Jost Benson line today.
