inkman Posted September 21, 2023 Report Posted September 21, 2023 (edited) So it’s the annual tradition of the NHL scheduling the Sabres at the same time the Bills are playing. So, this would have been a PERFECT opportunity to double dip you sports fandom and catch two road games from your favorite teams but the NHL can’t seem to help itself when it comes to scheduling. Why on Earth they picked 2pm for this game is far beyond anything I can comprehend. Edited September 21, 2023 by inkman 2 Quote
mjd1001 Posted September 21, 2023 Report Posted September 21, 2023 Its not that big of a deal for me, but I agree overall. Maybe there is something else going on in the building later in the day or the day before? Or the Sabres preferred an earlier game so they could get back to Buffalo in the evening and have a morning training camp practice the next day? Quote

WhenWillItEnd66 Posted September 21, 2023 Report Posted September 21, 2023 I am in NJ market, so no Bills game for me. Not sure if the Sabres are going to be on the web or not. Quote

I got 2 TVs in the mancave, possibly graduating to 3 soon. I’m genuinely interested in why the NHL would do this to itself. They are automatically killing the viewership for the Sabres Sunday. Is it financially negligible because it’s preseason? Attendance? I’ll be impressed if it’s 50% capacity. They either don’t care or have no idea it’s even occurring. I’m guessing on the latter as this league continues to blast itself in the foot in any type of promotional aspect. Quote
pi2000 Posted September 21, 2023 Report Posted September 21, 2023 Are any pre-season games televised, or streaming via reddit, 4chan, silk road, warez, geocities, napster, winamp, netscape, real player, VLC, zune, my space, listserv, freenet, etc....? Quote
