If the Canadian and US govt’s had licenses/permits for Canadian geese only. Make it cheap like $10 per year. And you can “collect” up to 10 geese a year. Thin out their numbers! Add a zero to that figure, please. 1 Quote
Flashsabre Posted September 13, 2023 Report Posted September 13, 2023 So Wright can but Savoie can’t. Sounds fair and well though out. Its literally a single day preventing Savoie and with Covid hitting he would have a strong case if he wanted to really push the issue. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted September 13, 2023 Report Posted September 13, 2023 So what? Who cares? Kid will be playing in the NHL. I feel it in my bones. 1 Quote

That already happens on the US side. We have a Fall early and late season, plus a Spring season. Goose is delicious. Quote

DarthEbriate Posted September 13, 2023 Report Posted September 13, 2023 Too young to begin the training be in the A (minus a conditioning stint). Hopefully, he remains motivated on the end goal even if he spends his season in the 'natch'. Quote
Brawndo Posted September 19, 2023 Report Posted September 19, 2023 From Friedman’s 32 Thoughts 19. Buffalo’s Matt Savoie suffered a shoulder injury during a prospect game Monday against Pittsburgh and is expected to miss some of the Sabres’ main training camp. While the OHL, the AHL and the NHL reached a gentlemen’s agreement to allow Shane Wright to go to Coachella Valley if he does not make Seattle, no such allowance is expected for Savoie, the ninth overall pick in the 2022 draft. Wright was one game shy of automatically being eligible for the AHL, and everyone involved wisely found a solution since the OHL did not have a season in 2021. (Savoie’s actually played more CHL games than Wright and missed the age exemption by one puny day.) All of that said, I wonder if the Sabres follow what the Kraken did with Wright last season. Instead of sending Savoie back to the WHL, they keep him in Buffalo for a while, then to the AHL for conditioning, followed by Team Canada for the World Juniors. 1 Quote
