Taro T Posted September 8, 2023 Report Posted September 8, 2023 (edited) Not sure if it's just for STHers or if it will be open to others after the STHers have had a chance to sign up for it, but next Saturday the Sabres are bringing Fan Fest back. This iteration will have a Kids Q&A session at 12PM, Sabres Trivia at 2PM, and then a B&G Insights with players apparently to be named later. (Those apparently are STH only events; though STHers can get up to 4 tickets. But there are other activities going on that day. See next post for details on those.) Personally am planning on attending. It should be fun. Edited September 8, 2023 by Taro T Kids Q&A is at noon, not 1PM. Quote
Taro T Posted September 8, 2023 Author Report Posted September 8, 2023 (edited) Ah, ok, those 3 items are "member only" but the whole event runs from 11AM - 6:30PM. Not sure what else will be going on. In the past there were a lot of autograph sessions and games around the rink too. Edit: the announcement says that "fans can take part in hockey skills activations (whatever the f that means), kid zone activities, and watch Sabres players participate in on-stage programming throughout the day." So, guess no autograph sessions. Edited September 8, 2023 by Taro T Quote
JohnC Posted September 8, 2023 Report Posted September 8, 2023 Do you know how many people had STs last year and what is likely to be for this season? When they give out the figure are partial packages counted in that ST figure? Quote
Derrico Posted September 8, 2023 Report Posted September 8, 2023 I grabbed our tickets to the event. I believe it’s open to everyone but there are STH only sessions that require (free) tickets including kids only player Q and A. Should be fun seeing that and then Harbour Centre for prospects game at night. Buffalo Science Museum also hosting some event called Bubblefest we are checking out first and then will make our way down to the arena. 3 Quote

But judging from how many seats are available for single games, would say there's probably 12-14k in ST equivalents between full seasons, 1/2 seasons, 1/4 seasons, & build your own minipacks. It was down around 4k 2 seasons ago. 1 1 Quote

My sense from just following the team from afar is that If this team can start off reasonably well, the arena will be filled on a regular basis. I just see the tide turning (this season). As you can attest to the Sabres are entertaining team to watch. 2 Quote
