Grit, heart, determination, chemistry, mutual support, toughness, and non-stop highlight reels. They're lacking NOTHING. Lindy has shown me a lot, too. He's shown that he knows how to strategize and game plan with the best of 'em. Hecht was the difference tonight. Anybody notice something about this team...there's a new difference maker practically every night. That's the definition of team. And what team does that remind you of...? Crossing sports, only the Patriots have spread their production around like these guys do. Only they have created a strategy-first, team-oriented concept that produces stars in one game that disappear, likely deliberately, the next game, as new difference-makers emerge to blindside the opponent. The Sabres are deep with talent, and everyone that has ever criticized Regier and Ruff over the past four years (while they built this team for a more open system) should send them a fruit basket.
