Popular Post Porous Five Hole Posted August 15, 2023 Popular Post Report Posted August 15, 2023 https://www.tennis.com/news/articles/jessica-pegula-races-past-liudmila-samsonova-less-than-an-hour-to-win-montreal This one was a big deal because she beat world number one and previous nemesis Iga Swiatek in the semifinals. She also beat her doubles partner, Coco Gauff, in the quarterfinals. This might be thr biggest prep tourney for the US Open next month. Jessie is world number three and has earned almost four million in prize money in her career. She’s made the quarters in all four of the majors at least once in her career. I’ll be watching the US Open and hope she breaks through in a major. She’s also a lock for the US Olympic Team in Paris 2024. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 13 6 Quote
TheAud Posted August 15, 2023 Report Posted August 15, 2023 Glad to see she's supporting herself financially. Seriously though, great achievements and more to come I'm sure. 2 Quote

Wimbledon will always be tough for Americans--you need to be on a Williams/Sampras level to win there because we don't have many grass courts here anymore. Same goes for clay at Roland Garros. Quote
Alaska John Posted August 16, 2023 Report Posted August 16, 2023 Congrats to Jessica Pegula. If she's earned almost $4M in 5 years or so, she'll make as much as her parents have, in, oh, about 125 years. Keep swinging, Jess. Quote
Norcal Posted August 16, 2023 Report Posted August 16, 2023 #3 in the world at anything is quite an accomplishment. Good for Jessica! Let's GO Pegs!!!! 3 Quote
