Why didn't he sign earlier OMG OMG OMG

He like, cares way more than Dahlin does about signing with the Sabres. Maybe Dahlin doesn’t want to play anymore for the Sabres. Oh no!

He looks like a baby. That picture looks like it could be from his prom.

Love that he is rockin' the mullet.

Per Sabres PR

Per Puckpedia, only $650k/yr in eligible performance bonuses.

Power has $1.85MM, Quinn has $850k, and Savoie has $1MM per that site.  Would've expected him to be around Quinn but guess it's good to be a top 10 pick.

So is Benson in the same situation as Savoi?  It's either WHL or NHL.

I suppose that they both could go back to WHL, dominate until worlds, goback to Jrs, and then come to Buffalo or Rochester.

He had to wait for his 13th birthday before he could sign.

Local paper states he's going out to Washington to play next year.

Probably correct, but they have no way of knowing for sure yet.

I knew they moved from Winnipeg. The press makes it sound like it's in Siberia and no one can see any games.

It’s almost the same distance from Seattle that Buffalo is from Syracuse

The move restores the balance to 11 teams in the east and west divisions. Winnipeg was the furthest team to the east.

6 of the 11 in the west are US based. All 11 in the east are in Canada.

Geographically, Wenatchee is almost dead centre for WHL travel

Winnipeg was way out on the eastern edge.
