Spandrel Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 OK, maybe not so ugly, but definitely gutty. Miller stands on his head to survive this one. Good job, guys.
LabattBlue Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 Your first instinct was correct...VERY UGLY. Other than a shot wide by Pyatt from the slot and a blast from Dumont, the Sabres had no offensive chances after they made it 2-0. They somehow have to figure out how to get the puck out of their own end. That being said, they stole two games on the road, both in which they were badly outplayed and are coming home with a 2-0 series lead. GO SABRES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Spandrel Posted May 9, 2006 Author Report Posted May 9, 2006 The Sens have got to be getting frustrated. They out-shoot us, they out-hit us, they control the puck nearly the entire last 30 minutes of the game, and they only manage 1 goal and lose a low-scoring game. Now, I'll settle for a split at home!

How sweet was it to have Miller stone Spezza with time winding down (although barely)...
