Buffalonill Posted July 17, 2023 Report Posted July 17, 2023 (edited) Good player He always does good in camp and pre - season. But it seems to me they never give him a shot Edited July 17, 2023 by Buffalonill Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted July 17, 2023 Report Posted July 17, 2023 You wonder how long he sticks to his NHL dream. I’d love to see him get a chance, but the odds are so stacked against him in Buffalo. 1 1 Quote
French Collection Posted July 17, 2023 Report Posted July 17, 2023 This is probably his last chance at a cup of coffee with the Sabres. In a pinch he is probably ahead of the Russians and Rosen as a W. A rash of injuries could get him a stint if Rousek and Kulich are up. They could go Murray instead but could elect to give him his chance as a “long” time employee. Next year Benson, Savoie, Rosen, Östlund and maybe Wahlberg are ahead of him. Neuchev and Kisakov could take a step as well. Quote
B-U-F-F-A-L-O Posted July 17, 2023 Report Posted July 17, 2023 I’d like to see the Amerks current roster now. It seems really loaded. Both in skill and in just the number of players…. Theyre loaded. They have to be a Calder Cup favorite, no? 1 Quote

Realistically expect him to move on to another or-gan-eye-zay-shun next year as even though there are anywhere from 1-3 job openings on the 4th line next year (which is where he slots in should he get the call) there are also at least 3 and probably 5 guys slotting ahead of him (not including Rousek) in the pecking order to win any of those slots unless he gets an injury call up this year and sticks it.
