OK, does this mean Lyubushkin, Bryson and/or Jokiharju are on the move?

IMO, the depth chart looks kinda like this at the moment:

Dahlin

Power

Samuelsson

Clifton

Jokiharju

Lyubushkin

Johnson

Stillman

Bryson

That’s a full group.  One of Stillman / Bryson getting traded or waived.

  • Brawndo changed the title to Sabres sign Defenseman Connor Clifton to 3 year 3.33 AAV Deal

There’s a non negligible chance we don’t see Kevyn move any assets this summer at all from our entire pool. Imo I’m hoping we are keeping them for a G trade

At the very least, RHD doesn't add up right now.. and we had the excess of LHD

Is that enough improvement on D? I’d imagine Bryson is gone and I picked Jokiharju for durability reasons over Bush but that’s anecdotal and could be wrong

Looks to me like a modestly improved unit

I still see room for Graves and a joki trade 🙂

Right shot and should help penalty kill

Penalty Kill and transitions are probably the primary reason for signing him

And he’s physical.

It’s the PK numbers that really catch my eye.

Its an area  we badly needed to target and it looks like we have here.

I love the signing.

Prime age for a D.

Developed in a good defensive system that teaches aggressive physical defending.

Hits and plays with physicality.

Big improvement on the ice first shift.

That’s probably too many D on NHL contracts.

Yeah... I don't get it... 2 defensemen means we have to move a holdover. Joki is probably best value moving forward.... Bryson and Stillman are not going to get a return. The kids in Rochester will be pushing in the next 2 years. So do we move Joki, Olofsson for a goalie?...

Boston’s 2nd pair RD for the last few seasons.

He’s a real Top 4 guy. This isn’t a stretch of signing a 6th spot dude and hoping for the best.

His average TOI was a shade under 18 min last year and 16:03 the year before so not sure it’s top 4 minutes he was getting.

This does sounds good.

Pretty sure Clifton is going to get the Joki minutes since he profiles similarly.

I think Henri gets traded, but there’s no way he’s sitting for Stillman and he shouldn’t be sitting for Johnson unless Johnson has more left than I think.

He should be a number 8 - don't get why we signed him.   Rather see Joker play.

I hit the Bruins board. I think this is a good addition, that we should not expect to be a staple 4D for power, based on what I read

Is the Joki minutes that Clifton is getting second pair minutes? Can’t even remember
