As others suggested, this makes the Johnson addition far more reasonable.

This is clealy a moneypuck signing.  This is a very smart risk.  He was a FA some commentators thought could play up and be effective.

I will say that these additions feel like baby steps from Boosh and Comrie when we were hoping for "the Diggs trade" type stuff. Still early

IMO, the depth chart looks kinda like this at the moment:

• Dahlin
• Power
• Samuelsson
• Clifton
• Jokiharju
• Lyubushkin
• E Johnson
• Stillman
• Bryson
• R Johnson

That’s probably too many D on NHL contracts.

There’s a non negligible chance we don’t see Kevyn move any assets this summer at all from our entire pool. Imo I’m hoping we are keeping them for a G trade
