Like a number of this year's prospects the rankings varied a lot. To be clear I'm not saying this guy is going to be a bust, I think I just reacted to the Samuelsson comparison. I don't see that at all. 1 Quote

That could be taken a number of ways 🙂 Yes he's a D man, but I don't care for this pick myself. I don't see the Samuelsson comparison at all. I see him as a bottom pairing guy at best. I would have taken Kalan Lind. “He knows he’s a strong defenseman that’s a pass-first guy, gets the puck out and is efficient defending, and then his offense is secondary,” Rud said. “Not that he’s not concerned about (offense), but I think he takes care of everything in his own zone first, and then if he can join the offense and lead in any way, he certainly likes to do that.” https://www.flohockey.tv/articles/11080821-2023-nhl-draft-profile-maxim-strbak-a-warrior-defenseman Sounds a great deal like Samuelsson to me, although Samuelsson because of his huge size maybe even more aggressive physically. 1 1 1 Quote

It's pronounced like "Trebek" except the "S" is slient and "bek" sounds like "back". That reminds me of your mother last night, Trebek, on her back and unable to speak - although she wasn't exactly silent! 1 1 2 Quote
