Eleven Posted June 26, 2023 Report Posted June 26, 2023 "The 2023 NHL Awards will be held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on June 26 (8 p.m. ET; TNT, SN, TVAS). Eleven award winners will be announced during the ceremony, with the winner of the General Manager of the Year award set to be announced during the 2023 Upper Deck NHL Draft in Nashville on June 28." I am honored that the awards will be given in my (fake) name. I do hope that Power wins an "Eleven award." Quote
#freejame Posted June 26, 2023 Report Posted June 26, 2023 It’s stupid hot in Nashville this week. Was going to check out the festivities today and Wednesday but that’s a big hell no in this weather. Quote

Buffalonill Posted June 27, 2023 Report Posted June 27, 2023 So who's doing the jokes tonight? I'm sure it's going to Be boring because the NHL likes to keep it kid friendly Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted June 27, 2023 Report Posted June 27, 2023 (edited) Do the Sabres get a bone tossed their way? Nope. Gotta keep stroking Seattle. Edited June 27, 2023 by PromoTheRobot Quote
Zamboni Posted June 27, 2023 Report Posted June 27, 2023 I’ll be sure to not watch it. Yawn. Someone will inevitably post the highlights anyway 😂 Quote
Scottysabres Posted June 27, 2023 Report Posted June 27, 2023 Why do they even televise this? It's absolutely horrid. 1 Quote

More than likely, one voter thought Cates was a better rookie than Power. That or he was a better rookie than Beniers. Those scattered second place votes are pretty mind blowing. Can you spot the voters from Vegas, Anaheim, and Philly? Quote
Thorner Posted June 27, 2023 Report Posted June 27, 2023 This show is so odd lol They basically put McDavid into a position on camera where he had to either commit to doing a bit on live tv, or donate 10 000 to charity lol Quote

Thorner Posted June 27, 2023 Report Posted June 27, 2023 (edited) A victory for points! - - - Dahlin finished 8th lmao Edited June 27, 2023 by Thorny 1 Quote
Eleven Posted June 27, 2023 Author Report Posted June 27, 2023 Power really should have won--he is better than Beniers and Wrong Skinner--but let's also keep in mind that Myers won the thing. OK. So reruns of Law and Order it is! Quote

Just horrible. Thank God I record everything so I don’t have to watch that tool breakdown the game between periods. Quote

Hoping he takes that personally. As good as last year was for him, expecting this to be his breakout year. Quote
