Lots of good assistant coaches fail as head coaches. Lots of fired head coaches become good assistants.

Housley was good as an assistant before and I'm sure he will be fine again focused on his areas of expertise. 

Rangers were smart to nab Peca. Sabres were stupid not to promote him.
