GASabresIUFAN Posted July 5, 2023 Report Posted July 5, 2023 How many Sabres draftees have played 1000 or more NHL regular season games. Who played the most? Who played the most with the Sabres? Who was the latest draft pick to reach 1000 games (by pick no.) 1 Quote
French Collection Posted July 5, 2023 Report Posted July 5, 2023 (edited) Perreault, Housley, Andreychuk are the first ones I can think of. Edited July 5, 2023 by French Collection Quote

tom webster Posted July 5, 2023 Report Posted July 5, 2023 Calle Johansson is always my favorite answer for this question. Pierre Turgeon and Alex Migilny have also been in the news lately. Do you know how many there are? Quote

Taro T Posted July 5, 2023 Report Posted July 5, 2023 (edited) Believe Calle Johansson got there as well. Nevermind - didn't see that TW had already named him. D'oh! Edited July 5, 2023 by Taro T Quote
Taro T Posted July 5, 2023 Report Posted July 5, 2023 Just now, Marvin said: Pominville? Vanek? Good calls. Thought Sarich got there as well, but turns out he fell 31 games short. Durn Lockout. Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted July 5, 2023 Report Posted July 5, 2023 (edited) So far so good, but it gets harder from here. 9 down 4 to go. 3 of these four may be hard to guess. Turgeon, Johansson, Perreault, Andreychuk, Housley, Ramsey, Vanek, Pominville and Ramsay Here are some near misses! McNabb, Mogilny, and Fogolin, Sarich and McKegney Edited July 5, 2023 by GASabresIUFAN Quote
Taro T Posted July 5, 2023 Report Posted July 5, 2023 Brad May too. (TW was on the right track, but had the wrong linemate of LaFontaine's.) 1 Quote

shrader Posted July 5, 2023 Report Posted July 5, 2023 I has to be some obscure guy who never actually played here. I know there was a late pick defenseman who played for years but I’m blanking in the name. Quote

Carney is the 12th and the last is the great Sean O’Donnell. He had an excellent career with over 1200 games played. He was drafted in the 6th rd (pick 123) in 1991. Tyler Myers might make it this season. He is 82 games short of 1000. Edited July 5, 2023 by GASabresIUFAN Quote

RochesterExpat Posted July 5, 2023 Report Posted July 5, 2023 Speaking of 1,000 game milestones, Jeff Skinner will likely hit his this season. Still has zero playoff games on his C.V. though. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted July 5, 2023 Report Posted July 5, 2023 Easy one, he won gold in 1980 and then four Stanley Cups in a row, who was he? Quote

Just because of the last question, I want to say Mike Ramsey, but he wouldn't have joined the team until after the Winter Olympics in February. I can't imagine it was him because he could only have played in a dozen games or so. Honestly no idea. Lindy Ruff? Quote
