There is ZERO chance they lose, and they probably end up winning by 4. They should come out like gorillas released from their cages, but they are the Leafs. I wouldn’t bet against them tonight but they are led by Matthews and Marner, playoff underperformers. Quote

Claude Balls Posted April 20, 2023 Report Posted April 20, 2023 If the Leafs lose tonight to a depleted Lightning team, missing two of their best D men, they will be the laughing stock of the NHL. Already embarrassed once at home, let's see it happen again. Go Tampon Bay!!! Quote

How big would he be right now behind and or with Dahlin and Power? Well, that sucks. Looks like the refs are gonna make sure this series is even going back to Tampa. You know the NHL wants Toronto to move on. Edited April 20, 2023 by Claude Balls Quote
Claude Balls Posted April 20, 2023 Report Posted April 20, 2023 Three guys I miss. Bogo, Montour and McCabe. Maybe even McNabb to a point. Buffalo could've had one of the hardest defenses to play against. Even Zadorov. Could've been nasty. Quote
Claude Balls Posted April 20, 2023 Report Posted April 20, 2023 Samsonov looks much better tonight, unfortunately. Quote
Claude Balls Posted April 20, 2023 Report Posted April 20, 2023 Yeah, this game is over. F you Toronto. Refs ruining this game. Quote
Claude Balls Posted April 20, 2023 Report Posted April 20, 2023 Starting to get scrappy as well. Quote
Second Line Center Posted April 20, 2023 Report Posted April 20, 2023 Yea no chance in hell without Hedman. Quote

DarthEbriate Posted April 20, 2023 Report Posted April 20, 2023 It's only 1 period, but we've learned that when you lose 2 (or 4) of your top 6 defensemen... it's very difficult to win playoff games. 1 Quote

Pimlach Posted April 21, 2023 Report Posted April 21, 2023 Watching Leaves and Bolts and thinking about how we would measure up. Can’t wait until next year when we get in the playoffs. We look so young compared to these two teams. If Levi becomes a star the Sabres will be a force once again. 1 Quote

Claude Balls Posted April 21, 2023 Report Posted April 21, 2023 How in the hell is NJ a #1 seed?? They are garbage. Quote

Why do you hope that a team which has caused us loads of misery gets back their players who love to concuss our best players with dirty plays that refs ignore because they're too busy trying to pile up power plays for them, so that they beat a team that we have some of our best memories against and which has caused most of us very little misery in our lives Edited April 21, 2023 by Randall Flagg Quote

It’s incredible. I’m rooting for them because 1) eff the leafs, and 2) they’ve built the core of their team from homegrown talent and I find that admirable, and 3) they play the brand of hockey that I like to watch (an offensive approach). 1 2 Quote
