Really surprised Bunting got that three game suspension. He definitely deserved it, but the league has often been reticent to levy meaningful punishment in these matters, especially in the playoffs.

If it was Austin Matthews it would have been a different story.

His victim got less, in the regular season, for basically the same hit on Okposo, right?

Watching Florida vs. Boston, it makes me wonder how we managed to waste Brandon Montour's talent while he was with Buffalo?!?!

95 percent of this board wanted him gone.  Maybe it's Krueger, maybe it's Maybelline.  And maybe it's us.

I know the end of that Boston game dragged out, but, man, it was so satisfying to watch.

The fans and the team aren't used to being challenged and it shows.

Boston pulling out vintage Boston stuff - how does that get passed along even though coaches change?

Also, when did they start putting the ads on the shoulder? Did this just start for the playoffs or does it happen to be those two teams? Gaudy but no surprise for the money-hungry NHL.

It is a team culture.  And even though it doesn't result in many Stanley Cups (I don't consider one every forty years to be impressive), it still is a culture.

Should be milk on one shoulder and toast on the other.
